Our New Shop at the Bakery
Following the completion of the new extension to our existing bakery facility at Smithton, we are pleased to announce the opening of our new shop. Many months were spent fine tuning plans ensuring we could offer the best possible experience for you, our customer. Our entire range of hot and cold take-away, bakery, confectionery, ice cream, hand-made chocolates and fresh-ground coffee is available. Please come along and enjoy!
Hand-made Belgian chocolates
For the connoisseur in you, our hand-made dairy chocolates have been developed using the very best of knowledge and experience from the continent. Some of our confectioners have worked with leading Master Chocolatiers in Brussels, Belgium to bring you a range of exquisite handcrafted chocolates.
Organic Artisan Bread
Having been in development for some time a new range of Organic Artisan Bread is soon to be ready for release. We have been accredited by the Soil Association and have stripped bread making back down to the very basics. Bread that is handcrafted, using the finest natural Organic ingredients. Bread requiring patience involving hours, days, months and years of fermentation. And because of this bread that is made without Baker’s yeast – making it easier on your digestion. Bread that is baked on a stone soled oven. Bread made the way it used to be made; bread made the way it should be made. As a Harry Gow customer, hotel or restaurant owner look out for the launch soon….

Harry Gow welcomes enquiries from individuals who have a genuine interest in joining the bakery production team and having the opportunity to learn traditional bakery craft skills. A competitive salary package and other attractive benefits will be available to successful applicants. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week and some overtime may be required.
