Welcome back! A warm welcome also to student Lauren who will be working with us for three weeks in each Pink Panther Playgroup term and the two new children who have recently joined the group. Themes ====== Autumn We shall be looking at autumn colours and shapes and be collecting leaves, conkers and cones for our Interest table. Vegetable printing, leaf printing and clay model making are some of the craft activities available in the next few weeks. To compliment this theme we are hoping to arrange a couple of walks to Lochardil woods to look at the trees, colours and any mini beasts we can find! Traditional Tales ================= Continuing with our “Traditional Tales” we will be introducing new stories, including The Elves and The Shoemaker, The Three Billy Goats Gruff and the little red hen. Dates for Diary =============== Halloween Party is on Wednesday 31st October. Remember to dress up but not in anything "Scary". Link Health Visitor Ann Chilcott will be visiting Playgroup on the 22nd of November Playgroup will be closed for In-Service days on Monday 26th November and Tuesday 27th November. Morning Group - Picking Up Your Children ======================================== Please remember when picking your child up in the morning to wait outside the main building until 11.45 as parents waiting in the school grounds is disruptive to pupils and teachers .Thank you for your co-operation in this matter. Clothing ======== Please help the staff by dressing your child in easy clothing for outdoor wear and toileting. This helps your child in gaining independence and speeds up outdoor trips.
