The Highlanders’ Museum (Queen’s Own Highlanders Collection) covers three floors of Fort George’s former Lieutenant Governors’ House. The museum has roughly 20,000 artefacts and an estimated 10,000 documents and photographs. The museum is the largest regimental museum in Scotland, outside of Edinburgh. Pink Panther Playgroup is a pre-school play group located at Holm Primary School in Inverness. Cauldeen Primary School is a nondenominational primary school catering for both boys and girls from the ages of four to twelve years. Children come to Cauldeen School from parts of Drummond, Culduthel, Lochardil, Castle Heather and Hilton areas of Inverness. The aim of Cauldeen Nursery is to develop and broaden the range of children's learning experiences, to leave them confident, eager and enthusiastic learners who are looking forward to school.

An online interactive project for Cauldeen Primary School covering Victorian Scotland. Second World War CD -Rom project and Web site designed by Cauldeen Primary with help from Inverness Online. The Highland Clearances is an interactive CDRom and web site resource researched and compiled by Cauldeen Primary and designed by Inverness Online Limited.

Forse House is the first registered Residential Nursing Home for people with learning difficulties or disability to be registered in Scotland. Duncan Forbes Primary School opened in 1977 and is built on what was once the grounds of Culloden House, home of the Forbes family. There are presently 11 classes from Primary one to Primary seven and a nursery class which provides pre-school education for 3 and 4 year olds
