General Information

All volunteers with Victim Support are trained to a national standard prior to any work with victims. During this training emphasis is placed on the confidentiality of information which victims may give during their meeting with Victim Support. Contact with victims varies according to specific needs and location within the area. In some instances this could be by a visit to the victim's own home or a mutually agreed location, by telephone, E mail or by written communication. We aim to respond to victims' needs as quickly as resources permit. Victim Support is a charity ( SC029495) with the majority of the workers being unpaid volunteers. We do not make any charge for services to victims.
